Description
The Simple VCO is a simple DIY-friendly, 1V/Octave voltage-controlled oscillator for Eurorack modular synthesizers.
Derived from the Formant VCO, it uses a single waveform output to keep the design minimal and easy to build. Two CV inputs allow frequency modulation.
The circuit is built around a single quad Op-Amp IC and has a low through-hole component count, making it perfect for beginners.
Better thermal stability for 1V/Oct tracking can be achieved by using a TempCo and matched transistors.
